⭐ 1/5 Unfortunately, my experience with Restaurant Realty Company has been extremely disappointing. As a small restaurant owner, I hired them expecting professional representation, communication, and an active effort to find a buyer. Instead, communication became one of the biggest problems. I repeatedly had to email and call both my listing agent and the company multiple times just to get a response or an update. There were long periods where I felt like I had no idea what was happening with my own listing. During my time working with them, I did not receive a single serious buyer/client for my restaurant. What I did receive were repeated conversations about lowering the asking price. I completely understand that market conditions matter and that no broker can guarantee a sale, but simply continuing to reduce the price is not what I expected when hiring a professional restaurant brokerage. For me, the most frustrating part was having to chase the people I hired to represent me. Even if a business doesn't sell, the owner should still receive consistent communication, feedback, updates on buyer activity, and a clear explanation of what is being done to market the business. If you own a small restaurant and are considering using this company, I strongly recommend asking exactly what they will do to market your business, how often they will communicate with you, how many similar restaurants they have actually sold, and what their strategy will be if the listing doesn't generate inquiries. Based on my personal experience, I would not work with Restaurant Realty Company again.

Working with Keith was the worst experience in my profession career of over 30 years. As my agent he didn’t listen to my requests and talked back to me with disrespect. I find him incompetent and just looking for a quick close causing his clients financial loss. Do yourself a favor and find a different agent who actually wants the best for his clients. In addition, he never responses on time and doesn’t have time to tour the restaurants he is responsible to sell. He is unprofessional and dishonest.

This review is long overdue - it’s for Dan Baker and he is fantastic! He helped me navigate my first dine-in lease; he was very professional, thorough and forthcoming with his advice and guidance. Having been a Chef-owner himself was especially reassuring as I always got the feeling he spoke from experience. As a first timer, very often I did not have the legal jargon or questions framed completely. He patiently explained realistic scenarios which helped me make independent decisions with clarity and confidence. He represented both the buyer (me) and the Seller. We worked with Andy Mirabel when we wanted to transfer out our lease. It was such a difficult time (during and post the pandemic) to try to get anybody to come in to open a new business! On top of that, our landlord has proven to be difficult to work with during the transferring process.
