Andy Mirabell has over 20 years of restaurant and bar operations and ownership experience. He has managed bars and restaurants from Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose to Auckland, New Zealand. Andy has been in charge and overseen six restaurant openings. He has been a part of many lease negotiations and restaurant sales. He was the Regional Operations Director of Blowfish Sushi to Die For, a San Francisco staple, for almost a decade. With this company he opened and managed locations in San Francisco, San Jose, West Hollywood and Auckland. His skill set and experience boasts amazing staff retention and education, while keeping locations profitable during poor and strong economies alike. In 2010 he created his own brand and restaurant concept called Skool. This inventive approach to seafood now has two locations. The flagship is in the Design District of San Francisco and the second is in Midtown, Sacramento. Andy has a love of real estate and is also a landlord. After being involved in many restaurant leases, ABC license transfers, and sales he knew he wanted to focus his work on restaurant sales. His compassion for restaurant owner operations allows him to appeal to the complicated and emotional decision to sell one’s business. Andy has a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Loyola Marymount University, which gives him an edge in clear and effective communication with all clients.
