The sellers, Eddie and Anise, are brothers, and veterans of the restaurant industry. They designed Bar 587 with the intention of creating the perfect place for family and friends to meet up and have a drink. They opened Bar 587 in March 2015, and had a great 5 year run until the pandemic came along and changed things.
Bar 587 is located in a neighborhood that draws an eclectic clientele. Near the intersection of Union Square, the Tenderloin and Nob Hill, the bar draws locals, shoppers, and an after-work crowd.
Angela, the new owner, graduated from UC Berkeley and has restaurant and bar experience. She plans to change the name of the bar to the Lost Cat, and she will institute a new craft cocktail program.
Angela looks forward to building upon the successful foundation Eddie and Anise have created. The Lost Cat will continue to be a place that locals and visitors alike love to come for a great cocktail!
