Daniel Morris, the owner of the Golden Bagel Cafe, contacted Restaurant Realty Company and agent Jim Pate in early 2022 to value the business and pursue a buyer.

Jim represented the sellers, Daniel and Julie Morris, and the buyer, Nicole Yonti, in the sale of the Golden Bagel Cafe in Napa, California.

Jim first met Daniel Morris of the Golden Bagel Cafe on March 23, 2022. After satisfying customers for 26+ years (since 1996) with great food and friendly service, Daniel decided it was time to retire and pass on years of goodwill to a well-qualified operator.

Restaurant Realty, led by Jim Pate, interviewed many interested parties until we found a perfect match with Nicole Yonai. Nicole is a young, enthusiastic Cornell University graduate eager to make her dream of owning and running her successful restaurant a reality – years of education and hard work truly paid off.

Daniel and Julie Morris didn’t just want to sell and retire; they tried to find that perfect operator to continue their legacy of success for the Landlord, employees, and the community.

With SBA financing in place, escrow closed in mid-October. Business is booming with all the employees remaining and maintaining the quality and freshness of the food and a remarkable reputation.

Nicole wished to expand into more Catering to the local area and try new dishes she believes her loyal customers will enjoy.

We were able to help a couple retire that had invested over 26 years into the business sell for $600,000 while finding the perfect buyer, a young talented operator, and helping her dream come true.
