Marche Aux Fleurs recently Sold on October 5, 2022. It is located at 23 Ross Commons in the city of Ross in Marin County.

Steve Zimmerman, the Principal Broker and Owner of RRC represented Dan and Holly Baker, the sellers and the buyers are Marche Restaurant LLC and the management team includes Darren and Alicia Banks.
Dan and Holly operated the business for over twenty one years and although they enjoyed the business needed a change due to the demands of this successful operation. Darren and Alicia are both from Northern California. Darren grew up in Marin and Alicia in San Mateo. They met while working at a Larkspur cafe, each honing their skills at Cucina in San Anselmo, and for the past 8 1/2 years they have owned and operated the popular SandBar Restaurant on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. Darren and Alicia bring with them a unique and diverse culinary experience. They are very excited to be a part of the Marche family and look forward to meeting everyone! They look forward to continuing Marche’s relationship with local purveyors and farmers and to support local small production wines and maintain that special experience everyone has come to love.
Ross is one of the most sophisticated markets in Marin County and in the bay area as a whole. The buyer’s background with high quality food and excellent service will serve this demanding market very effectively.
Marche aux Fleurs is a market-driven cuisine inspired by the French tradition of locality and seasonality served in an intimate neighborhood setting. This French bistro will boast creations made with farmers-market finds plus boutique wines and a patio. The restaurant was closed recently for some upgrades and reopened on October 8. The sellers are working closely with the new operators to assure that all the details regarding the food quality and excellent service procedures of the operation are successfully transferred to them.
We wish Darren and Alicia, the management team, a continuation of their past successful culinary careers at the restaurant and wish Dan and Holly continued success in all of their future endeavors.
