FLOWER FARM CAFE
Loomis / Sacramento
Restaurant Realty recently sold The Flower Farm Cafe in Loomis, CA! We represented both the seller and buyer.
John & Annie Bowler, along with their children, purchased the Flower Farm in Loomis in 2004. They renovated the farmhouse, added guest cottages and converted the barn into a facility for weddings and special events. The Flower Farm is now home to six acres of mandarins, a half-acre of Malbec grapes, a variety of fruit trees, large vegetable gardens and a cutting flower bed.
The family decided to ease their daily responsibilities and look for an owner operator for Flower Farm Café, the popular restaurant part of The Flower Farm. After interviewing many interested buyers, the family accepted an offer from Madeline Faeth who is a successful restaurant operator who owns Farmhause Restaurant in Granite Bay, 10 minutes away from her newly purchased business. She has been operating the neighborhood gem since 2013.
After purchasing The Flower Farm Café, Madeline is ready to bring it to the next level with the Bowlers as her new landlords. The restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor patio with beautiful garden seating. The warm and friendly cafe offers a wide range of delightful menu items for both breakfast and lunch. Their dishes feature fruits and vegetables grown right on the farm, including organic salads, homemade pastries, scrumptious made to order sandwiches, homemade sauces and more. There delicious beverages feature organic, shade grown, hand crafted fair trade coffees, organic teas, locally made cider and orange juice squeezed from their very own oranges. They serve locally crafted beers, including Loomis Basin Brew, Casque Wines, as well as specialty cocktails.
Both Buyer and Sellers are excited about the next chapter in their lives of the well-loved Flower Farm operation.
Tamas Torok, our RRC agent represented both the buyer and seller in this transaction. We wish the both buyer and sellers much continued success in all of their future endeavors throughout life.
