As its name would suggest, Waterdog is dog friendly, and dogs love the place as much as their owners do. The beautiful beer garden with a creek running through it made it a wonderful place to spend a warm evening, and their spacious rooms with great views made it a favorite place for private events.
Adam Light, the new owner, is a veteran of the restaurant industry. He currently owns and operates Potrero Grill, Tapas and Taps, and Drakes in SFO. Adam also owned and operated Poplar Creek Grill in San Mateo from 2008 – 2017. Adam looks forward to building upon the successful foundation Anne and Toby have created, while shifting the direction of the menu towards a more whimsical take on American comfort food. He also plans to make some additions to the beer garden, and add a few TVs so that sports fans can find their favorite games on whenever they visit.
